    Made it through day 3. Supposedly, it will start getting easier soon. Thanks for your prayers.

    Day three is usually the worst. It is downhill from here and easier to resist the urges.

    Been there and done that Sir. It ain't easy but with God's Help, you can do it. Take it day by day and most of all, DON'T GIVE UP!!!
    If you were happen to have a relapse, start again and you will eventually win.

    I smoked for 30 years and quit cigs but tried everything else trying to quit. Pipe, cigars, chewing tobacco, and dipping. They all are bad stuff and none will lessen the urge but add to it. Nicotine gum may help but some are addicted to that too. I was.

    Just keep on the quitting track and ask God to give you strength.

    I will pray.
    2 Timothy Chapter 4 : 2-4
    2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
    3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
    4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

    Prayers sent! Also a prayer of thanksgiving for a mother who was hell on wheels against tobacco and promised extreme violence against my person if she ever caught me using.

    Prayers up, you got this!

    I dipped for 20 years, and quit cold turkey 10 years ago. Nicotine can be an awful mean monkey to fight off your back. Stay strong!

    Be humble of character, warm of heart and kind. You will know when it's time to flip the switch and unleash the beast.
