Default Suarez Glock 347 and 547

For those still unaware, the Glock 47 currently resides as a gov't contract only pistol. The G47 is a gen 5 pistol of G19 grip length with a 17 length slide, essentially, a factory Guttersnipe. Well, being the the pirates we are, we're not to fond of the gov't getting all the the good shit to themselves, so, enter the SI-47 in Gen 3 and 5 configurations. This will also allow for new custom builds of the SI-47 pistol. Pre-orders will be open in April with expected delivery of all finish options available by early June

People have asked me if I consider myself a good or bad person. The truth of it is, I don't know or care. I have been called both. I like to think I have saved more lives than I have ended. Either way, I can still sleep at night.

I wonder why Glock decided not to release that one to the general public. My EDC is a 17K/19L. All the conversion really requires is a hacksaw and a rasp. (Admittedly, mine required more tools than that. But all of the extra work was really just to make it pretty.) There is definitely a market for the 19-frame/17-slide combination.

Josh, is it true that the 47 lower will accommodate both the 47 and 45 uppers? I thought I read that somewhere back when Glock announced the pistol.

Well...if you want to be a cheapskate, Dewey Crowe type guy, yeah. But if you are a higher level player with a taste for better, you will need more than that

LOL...I love it how one of our spies was issued this weapon, and immediately brought it to us for "examination".

I definitely didn't save any money doing it myself. DIY isn't always about pinching pennies. But I learned some things.

Things that might be learned by starting with a ready to go Guttersnipe...or a SI-347 or 547 slide perhaps.
