Greetings all. I need some info. on Ohio knife laws. I'll be heading there at the end of this month for my little brother's wedding. What can I take with me ? I really just want to know what the legal length is for folders in Ohio. Thanks in advance.

thanks. that helps somewhat. Although I'm a LEO, I'll leave my Benchmade AFO at home. Guess I'll be ok with my AFCK.

You can carry a switchblade in Ohio. The law states that you can't manufacture or sell them. At least that is how I am reading it from the link that was provided.

I just reread the ORC about the carrying of Deadly Weapons which was changed a good bit when the CCW permit system was enacted.
The only knife specificly listed as being illegal is a "ballistic knife". There is no mention of switchblades. There may be local laws however. OTOH while it might be "legal" to carry one it might not be wise to do so.
