Four weeks to go... looking forward to teaching this couse.
One piece of information I wanted to add is that we will look at several different platforms (AK/Saiga, AR, Lever-Action) and their strengths and weaknesses in regards to the fighting rifle platform.

Burro Canyon does no longer allow steel targets for rifles... and they frown on the ice-filled coffee containers that I was able to use in the past that made the long-range portion more interesting
...
Sooo - I found self-healing plastic targets and ordered several in various sizes so that we will get the immediate feedback for the achieved hits.

One week to go - there's still room for those who want to jump on this opportunity.
I will run my next rifle class for the Los Angeles area in 2013... and that will be Rifle/Saiga Gunfigthing and the Advanced version of it. those do require that students have solid basic skills - like the ones taught in this course here.

Mojave,
Thank you for your kind words.
I have vivid memories of two days back at Lytle Creek running lots of drills and finally alternating RUNNING hard and lying fire downrange during the last stage that we had set up... That was one fun teaching experience. That course will return in 2013.
