Can someone tell me how much adjustability is built into the Dogleg attachment? Does it look like you could compensate for a receiver that was, say, 1/3" to 1/2" shorter than standard? Thanks!

How did you end up with a receiver that short? Home-bent?
I didn't...I am working through the details of a 9mm blowback design, and one of the challenges is that, because the 9mm casing is shorter than that of the 5.45x39, you have to reduce the distance from the breech to the ejector. Most people have done this by doing crazy cutting and welding jobs on the ejector rail. It looks like the Russians pushed the easy button on the Vityaz, and simply shortened the receiver, effectively moving the front trunnion closer to the ejector.
I am considering doing it this way, am looking to see what the possible effects on RSB placement/dust cover/handguard placement will be.
