    Default Sights On My 870

After debating the tritium vs RDS sights for my 870, here is what I came up with.

I added a Trijicon front post and squared up the notch on the rear sight for a very pistol-like sight picture:

Agreed Your opinion (smince) is the only one that matters. If it works for you, that's all that is important.

I got this same set up on my shotgun. Jon Tank of Tank's Rifle Shop completed this for me about 20 years ago.
Yea, though I walk through the valley, in the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for I graduated from Suarez International's Ultimate Combat Skills Course.

Very nice. I've always preferred the notch style rear sight to the peep/ ghost ring sight myself in a pinch, I find it aligns quicker for me.

Nice set-up. You got a light on that 870?

Nice, I went with Trijicon sights front and rear on my rifle sight barrel.

For a fighting shotgun gun, I'm good to go with a bead, but if I was limited to a shotgun only I'd go with your set-up rather than ghost ring sights.
