CA Legal FAL

I am looking to buy my first FAl. Don't make fun of me but I am a resident of California. I looked into the CA legal DSA FALs but they supposedly weld the magazine in place so its top feed only. The only other places I have seen that sell CA legal FALs are Atlantic Firearms and Entreprise Arms, both do a bullet button style magazine release (its a CA thing ). I prefer a 18" barrel. If anyone has suggestions or other places to look the help would be greatly appreciated. And any info on the FALs that Entreprise and Atlantic sell would be fantastic.

I seem to recall seeing Ammo Brothers advertising FALs sometime last year but don't remember what builder or any details other than the price was under 1K.

I ordered the Entreprise today, should be here in 2 weeks. I will let you guys know how it runs.

I have 3 California legal FALS. 2 have the FAL bullet button and one has a paddle grip sleeve so I can use my pre-ban 20 rounders. I wouldn't buy anything that couldn't be converted back in a minute. Stay away from welded hack jobs.

Concur.

If you're going to buy off the rack, DSA is pretty good; Entreprise's quality varies. I'm not familiar with Atlantic.
