Default TSD Glock Barrels - Questions

    • What are the advantages of the TSD barrel? (I can see (and I like) the threaded extension, and I'm guessing that there's an accuracy improvement, but I'm not sure if I'm a good enough shot to exploit that improvement.)
    • Is installing one of these a drop-in proposition?
Sorry if I'm asking lots of questions on this forum... trying to plan how I spend my money on all the new ideas I've learned here- already got an RMR on the way!

    Excellent, thanks.

I may need to deploy again to afford all this..... but I can't take SI classes while I'm over here.... such a dilemma!

For what it is worth, I also have a Storm Lake barrel to convert my .40 to shoot 9mm. A high quality barrel, and a drop in. The TSD barrel I have I would rank as a "VERY High Quality Barrel" and is also a drop in. I highly recommend it, even though I have no intention of fitting a can to this pistol.

What drop-in unthreaded barrel is a good match for a TSD slide to improve accuracy over factory without giving up reliability?

Call TSD and simply specify you want a non-threaded TSD barrel.
