Los Angeles Training Group begins February

I'm forming a training group for SI alumni for Los Angeles/Southern CA Area. Range reservations are made for early February.

We will work on presentation from the holster, smoothing out your draw and getting these critical first rounds accurate. Training time will be four hours from 9:00 to 13:00.

Ladies, Gents, here are the details for the Training Group:

These events will be for Suarez International Alumni. Our first Training Date is set for February 4th in Burro Canyon.

As mentioned before, we will work on presentation from the holster, improving smoothness, speed, and accuracy.
The gear you'll need is

• Pistol
• minimum 3 mags
• 100 rounds ammo minimum
• Holster and mag carriers
• you usual range gear (since all of you have done this before, you know what you need)

I'm not planning on any lengthy breaks, since we'll be working only for a 1/2-day.

Frequency and type of this training group will be set by those alumni who take this opportunity. In other words, if you are there, you can help shaping the future event topics and frequencies. We will run this group along the rules and guidelines that Gabe and Jack have set for them.

Cost for the event is $40. You can pay in cash at the range or ahead of time via paypal.

Make sure to contact me if you want to use this training opportunity.

We need to have a minimum of 6 people committed to get this project going.
I'll cap the group size at 12 so that everyone will get the training they are looking for. If more people are interested, well - I don't mind at all running a second group on the same topic .

Have you looked into "A Place to Shoot" In Santa Clarita as a training site? It saves an hour or more of driving time for folks in the LA area, the coast, and further north. They seem very "Suarez friendly".

OK Folks, we have not yet reached the critical mass - in other words, we have only very few people who committed to this training date. I have to consider postponing this event until after the Pistol Marksmanship classes. This will bring it out to mid-March.

This saddens me (I have committed via email). Not sure about anyone else, but I would be willing to pay a larger fee, if that would make it viable.
