    Default Warrior wife traits

This was brought up in another thread here. So, what are traits of the Warrior spouse?

My newest candidate is a trauma nurse. With all the random injuries around here, she fits well. Not to mention she is also a beautiful woman and person. She likes Blood and guts, guns and AMOK ( conceptually at this point). She can drive a stick and run a grill, and sew me up when I have an oops ( more often than I like to admit). She can hold a conversation about more than purses and nail polish, and looks at hunting as an opportunity for an anatomy lesson. She can dress up and go formal, and run a chainsaw beside me in the yard.

Nobody tell her anything, it might scare her away. But she MIGHT be a keeper.

But what is she doing with you????? Sounds in deed like a keeper. I got one pretty close to that in the Ole Heifer! What are you going to do to keep her around???
I rather you hated me for who I am than love me for who I ain't!

Sounds like she has a whole lot going for her. I think Louis L'Amour would probably be proud to call her a Sackett Woman. That's an impressive list of positive qualities; are there any negatives? If not, I'd say you've found your keeper.

    I suggest Proverbs 31.
That said, make sure she knows who you are, and isn't going to try to emasculate you or otherwise disrespect who you are at your core.
Asking advice of your trusted friends is good, seeking God's face is even better. Do both.

This. My wife knew what she was getting the whole time we were dating.(a looong time.don't ask.)
I spent a lot of years getting myself back to life from my death experience and was content to work on myself and see what I was made of. Having a wife with or without kids was far,far into the future. Once we met I searched myself and did a LOT of praying asking The Lord if this is what He wanted. Once I got my answer it was full tilt boogie and I have never looked back!
To the OP, Judomayhem is wise. Ask the Lord and He will let you know if she is to be.
Personally, why haven't you scarfed her up?

Oh, by the way, I married up and make no bones about it!
