Hello US PALM,
I realize that simple ComBlock polymer and wood stocks for the AK rifle are tried and true, but I think US PALM could offer a more modern rendition of the standard AK stock that includes some nice features. What I'm thinking is... keep it simple. A solid polymer stock that is shorter that Warsaw length and has some more versatile sling attachment points. Something like the Sully stock comes to mind:

I think a new AK stock that gets the shooter's shoulder more in line directly behind the barrel will also be beneficial at managing recoil. I don't really care about adjustable length. Perhaps offer 3 different stock lengths (a Warsaw length, one 3/4" shorter, and another 1/2" shorter than that) and you'd have all bases covered.
I think a stock of this type could also aid in close quarters maneuverability and help balance modern AK rifles with optics, rails, and lights attached.
You could even perhaps offer an optional cheek riser that could be added for rifles that have high-mounted optics? But I wouldn't want to sacrifice a solid, uniform cheek weld for this feature.
Also... give us a somewhat grippy, but slim recol pad similar to that of the Vltor iMod stock. (Don't need any storage compartments, however.... remember, simple is the goal.)
Just my thoughts. Anyone else concur? I'd like to hear other's input on a stock such as this.
Thanks for your time.
Chris
