Mine, but I've since removed the junk scope. Looking for the right optic.

I'm a big fan of the inch guns. I'm not a fan inch mags, their availability, and the super long lengths of the original inch guns.... at least not for 2-way range use. Got a large stack of the Styer mags with the witness holes to...best mags IMHO.

Inch kit screwed onto a metric Imbel by the angry beavers at CAI. This was back in the day when the Malaysian kits came in and CAI didnt have their own receivers yet. Made sure I specified an Imbel when I ordered from Wholesale Guns and Ammo...or whatever that place was in NY run by those two brothers years ago. The illusive "bitch" gun run by the Aussie SAS in Nam was my inspiration. Not to self, dig up that old pic and post it here...

Shortened to 16.25 with the gas port ever so gently opened (honestly it ran on like 8 or 9 or something but I wanted it down around 5). Shortened Stol FH milled out to slip over the larger OD inch barrel. Got a Belgian style FH done the same way so I can swap at my pleasure. Crapco stripper clip cover with a chicom aimpoint wannabe....yeah it aint mil spec but I don't have the scratch to go whole hog. I can co-witness the irons through the dot. So it can be done on an FAL folks.

The only thing I would add would be internal sand cuts but I'm not in the desert so I can live with it I guess.

Runs like a top and the only thing I would trust more to go click-boom would be an AK.

Nothing fancy here. Just my Imbel build. Very reliable no frills battle rifle. Love it!

I updated mine. The VFG makes a huge difference in muzzle (over)swing and makes the rifle feel MUCH lighter. My velocities out of the 16" barrel with the Moses Hurricane FH are right around 2690 fps with the gas on 5.5.

Came out perfect. Pistol is my EDC XD45
    Hi!

.45/.308/12 gauge kinda guy, but .22 rimfire is where I get my enjoyment.

Modified L2A1 used by the Aussie SAS in Nam. Affectionately call The Bitch. Done in country by armorers and usually wielded by the point guy on patrol.

Note the rear site and full auto selector and heavy barrel contour. Looks like the gas system was shortened as well.

    Bet it was a handful.
