Just finished Sniping in the Great War by Martin Pegler. Amazing how rudimentary equipment and tactics were back then, and how the Soviets took a solid lesson from being stomped on by German snipers in WWI during the interwar period. Also, from a hardware standpoint, how good we have it now - a basic $349 Savage Axis w/ Scope combo would have made you the envy of the trenches in 1917!

Just finished G. Gordon Liddy’s autobiography, Will. Very good read. Half way through Ordinary Men. It’s hard to say “it’s a good book,” but it is both educational as well as disturbing.
