I read that some Dragunov owners have modified PSL Magazines to fit Dragunov and NDM-86 rifles. Whats involved, has anyone done this?

There was an article in SAR magazine on this. Sorry I don't know what issue it was. Maybe http://www.smallarmsreview.com/home.htm can help you.
As far as I remember it was a successful conversion.
If everyone is thinking alike, then who is thinking ?
UPDATE,
I had a 7.62x 54R PSL magazine modified to fit in a NDM-86 by the gunsmith I use. The modification was to build up the rear facing tab that holds the mag in place, the tab on the PSL is smaller than the NDM-86 Mag. After building the tab up, the tab had to be ground down to match the NDM-86. A heat sink was required during the welding process, so that the mag wasn't damaged. Have used it twice and it works fine.
Yeah, I wrote that article years ago......modifying the mags was a huge pain in the butt, I would not recommend it.
