    I guess cheap is relative :) . With the optic you have on their you gotta have at least $1200 in that rig.

    Fine, I'll take that optic off and I'll have about $1k into a rig that shoots ammo that's less half the cost of 7.62x39 and one third the cost of 5.56. How much does the ammo cost that your battle rifles use, VAGlocker? Do you have 10K rounds stockpiled? Do you have an optic that requires a new battery only every 5 years? I have about $1500 into that gun and I can swap it over to 5.56 in a few minutes if 5.45 dries up.

    "Cheap" can also mean long term investment, ya know.

    Whoa cowboy, I think you took my coments the wrong way. Just saying that $1500 isn't "cheap" even if it is cheap to feed. I have close to that much in my AR as well in 5.56. Incedentally by reloading I pay about the half of what factory 5.56 costs.
