Damn! :( I was gonna sell my Saturn L200 to raise the funds, so I guess I'll have to keep the car and buy a Browning Hi-Power instead.

Seriously, congrats on the new pet.

I venture that was the cost for both pistols...

P7M8's can be had for anywhere between ~$800-1,800 for shooters.

Did you look on Gunsamerica.com or ParkCitiesTactical?

The MINT CONDITION 1 of 500 Limited Edition Last Production HK P7M8's should be the only ones selling NIB for ~$2,150-2,250. There's actually a few of these right now there for ~1,600.

I know shops in my area had the non-final production ones in that ~1,400 range.

Default WEll, I dunno if I'd consider myself an HK "cultist" yet . . .

. . . but after finally shooting a perfect score on the CBP qual course yesterday w/my P2000 LEM .40 (first time I've EVER shot a perfect qual score in a combined 8 years in military and civilian L.E), the li'l darlin' has gained serious brownie points in my book! :)

Owned a USP full sized .45 since about 1999. Love it. Accurate, feels good in my hand, indexes nicely. Any problem I've ever had with is was a case of 'user error'.

BTYW, Airsoft Atlanta sells a full sized USP airsoft that is 99.9% identical to the real thing. Weight, size, dimensions, perfect. Even takes down like the real thing. ANd won't take down unless the mag is out. Also have the USPC that is identical. Both lack any HK markings, though.

Takes down identically to the real thing, untill you try pulling out the barrel. Fits my existing leather perfectly. So much so, I always need to check the weapon to ensure its not real thing in the leather before I try FoF.
