I had a p89 at one point and it was a half ass decent albeit huge weapon. The SA pull I could hit clay pigeons at 30 yards and that was OK by my standards at the time. As soon as I turned 21 I got a permit, bought a glock 19 and never looked back.
Yep, I'm a old Ruger owner, P90 and a P345 for a while. My first EDC once I got it out the military was the P345

Still have a P85 And P95 in the safe. The 85 was my first hi-cap 9mm and all I could afford just after buying my house in 1990. It always pointed very well for me and I never had a failure of any kind with it. The P95 I still carry when I am mowing my acreage and don't want to worry about messing up any of my better guns. I smoothed up the trigger pull on it and it's really not a bad gun.... again no failures in the time I have had it. Picked it up at a pawn shop for $205 used around 2004.
