Adults need to know why.
Perhaps there are fewer adults to care about why and just want someone they think is their better to tell them what to do without question.

Not what I mean, your not like that fucking history teacher in high school that just like talking to hear the sound of him voice and really just run around in circles with his conversation that go nowhere.... I should have been more descriptive....

For me, knowing the 'why' is key for deeply learning the subject that is being instructed. The drills for these skills I use at home to iron in the new information learned in class, to make those skills my own.
