Its a 17. The Compact is analogous to the 19. The strange thing is that via pictures, it would seem the Glock sits slightly (slightly) lower in the hand, but when you grip the pistol it is the reverse. Something about the angles of the grip.

Plus another thing I see is the barrel sits down almost inside the frame instead of on top. Barrel centerline looks about 1/4” lower.

Yes...the slide runs INSIDE the frame rails not over them. This places the barrel further down in the hand. Recoil with the CZ 75 is beyond minimal

One is DA SA with a safety...the other with a decocker. Each has its advantages

History nerd moment. The CZ75 has some cool Cold War cress. Issued by countries on both sides of the Iron Curtain. Long time popularity here in The States but nowhere near the following it has in Europe. It's up there with the Hi Power as far as cult status.

Anyone have a comprehensive listing of magazine compatibility throughout the product line?

Aside from length, I recall that the P07 and P09 don't fit the metal guns, and that the mags for the metal guns differ depending on the model and may not be interchangeable.

With regards to the barrel and slide arrangement, I note the resemblance to the SIG 210, another pistol with amazing accuracy.
