This is excellent! I learned about off-center vision methodology while attending US Army Infantry AIT, way back in 1977. Very good stuff. Have been using binoculars at night for enhanced vision since that time (along with electronic NODs).

Indeed. They go indepth to topics that should interest us all. Its why I post a lot of their stuff here lol. Ideas and concepts that should be in our wheel houses. Its more productive than some of the BS i see in the "gun community". I have seen a lot of banter lately about buying new guns because beer guts get in the way of a glock.

wait... is someone marketing a beer gut friendly gun? as disgusting as that would be you have to admit it would be brilliant marketing... rounded sweat absorbing corners, gravy resistant finish, textured french fry grease friendly grip zone, the options are limitless. Add on a light with wires that serve an an optional AED and you'd really have something. OK, I've hijacked this enough, back to your normal routine.

Haha yeah. People seem to go to the sig 365 as their edc when they get rotund enough. Then start making the usual excuses about car jackers and only needing a few rounds and talk about how a 19 is way too big. Don't dare bring up anything about winning the life fight or getting in shape to fight.

Oh also something I have found to be useful in making an expediant red or green light is to color the lens of a white light with a sharpie. Not as good as the covers I have made from gels but decent as long as you get it on thick.

I don't know anything at all about the subject, but I am pretty sure I am old enough that I can usually tell when someone is talking straight, from their own experience.

Great resource, thanks for the tip.

Weird, it's almost like Sua and I do an in depth review on night fire and unaided land nav in wilderness warrior.... it's amazing what you miss when you don't come to class..

    Always entertaining, mildly offensive
IANative: Indeed, when you grab Brent (or he grabs you), it feels like liquid unobtanium wrapped in rawhide... whereas Greg is just solid muscle wrapped in hate, seasoned w/ snuff and a little lead.
