My home 7.5" CQB gun has Winchester Super-X .223 55g Soft-Point ammo. Runs very well in it. Initially bought a 200 hundred rounds and have 2 mags left. No failures with the 140 I ran thru it.
Optics are a Trijicon MRO on 1/2" riser.

Always entertaining, mildly offensive
IANative: Indeed, when you grab Brent (or he grabs you), it feels like liquid unobtanium wrapped in rawhide... whereas Greg is just solid muscle wrapped in hate, seasoned w/ snuff and a little lead.

Thanks for the input guys. I guess i should have been more specific in my question. I was interested in terminal ballistics. I personally have decided to go with Hornady 55gr. TAP as my load.
Well....once the Hyena has recovered we will go do some Gansta shit on Texas Hogs...with short 556...like John Clark in Without Remorse...just for practice

Shoot some with ball and shoot some with defense ammo. I bet it leads to the same difference with both ammo even in the controversial 7” barrel....
