Love my Sig Sauer P2xx series guns.
Have a P226 in 9mm and P229 in 9mm and .40
Have another Sig DA/SA, a SP2022 in 9mm, I think it's the most underrated Sig Sauer pistol available at a cheap price point.
That .357 Sig is tempting.

I just picked up a 229r DAK in 9mm, I have several DAO pistols and now I'm starting to get better with the trigger.
I picked that up because I haven't been able to find a DA/SA 229/239 in 9mm at a good price so i need to get the card out and see about getting one from SI

I'm taking the DAK is a weak/far flug 2nd place to the standard DA/SA? Right now in our safe we only have striker fired, single action onlys, and DAO (Along with the DAK)

You can make a DAK work, but they are far from optimal. Fortunately they can be updated to DA/SA easily.

I’ve only ever played with a DAK at the gun shop. It felt great, though. I kind of liked the idea of a single, consistent trigger pull. What are the reasons you would discourage using the DAK?

The SA in a good DA SA exceeds the quality of a 1911 trigger. As long as you train yourself to decock prior to holstering...it is the best option IMNSHO

At LASD I carried a S&W model 67 revolver and later a 686.

When I transferred out to a smaller agency I bought my own Sig P226.
