What trigger are you running?
I currently run BCM Mil-Spec triggers but thinking of getting a drop-in or two for mine for adjustability.
( Don't require competition )

Drop in triggers can be prone to failures if debris or popped primers become lodged in them. And adjustable triggers are not considered suitable for anything but competition weapons as adjustments can loosen at the worst possible time. Why do you think you want an adjustable trigger, if you don't mind me asking?
If you want a top tier combat trigger for the AR, tested to 200,000 repetitions by SOCOM, get a Geissele SSA.

ALL triggers for ARs are prone to issues when primers are lodged in them; drop in triggers are not special in that regard. And issues with adjustable triggers are mostly a result of the installer failing to lock the adjustments in place (same for trigger pins coming loose; it seems really common for guys to not read the directions and fail to lock the little set screws down in cartridge triggers).
Personally I couldn't make a trigger recommendation without knowing more about what it'll be used for.
Geissele also.

I have a couple of Larue's that I have been pleased with.
Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges
I have good success with CMC triggers as well.
apples to oranges. everyone is going to find something that they like to another company, whether its the geometry of the shoe/hook, break, travel, break position, break weight, reset point, single vs two stage, etc.
as for what myself and paul use, its a mix of geissele, larue, triggertech, rise armament, alg, and timney.
i can say paul prefers his rise armament, while i prefer larue to geissele, and have been pretty impressed with timneys new impact line

People have asked me if I consider myself a good or bad person. The truth of it is, I don't know or care. I have been called both. I like to think I have saved more lives than I have ended. Either way, I can still sleep at night.
