    Default Police use of drones

A video of how Louisville used drones during some protests.

A local news channel out of Kansas City from 2019. Gives some insight into how they were using them even back then.

Interesting. A shotgun would be faster but given the context of a protests it makes more sense.

Also I there are some good comments like: "Wow, we live in a time where flying robots are brought down by lazers. The future is now". Makes me laugh.

While this one isn't from the police I think it gives some good perspective on how much of an advantage something like this could be used if you do some thinking in violence.

When ANTIFA planned their visit to Prescott (and wisely changed their minds), Prescott PD had drones overhead.

Hell if I know... lol. I just recognize their potential and know they are being used now and will only be used even more with events to come. A friend uses these kinds of things in an official capacity and nudged me down the path of learning about them. My last few threads are part of that. Stuff the tribe will need to know.

Yes definitely a force multiplier. I was hoping you would do all the hard work and be the expert.

I'm getting the DJI Mini II. My brother has one and I have some flight time with it. Enough to be sold on it. Huge amount of functionality for a pretty small price.

So my friends work drone is a Skydio. Seems to be the standard for .gov and most LE's have DJIs. I would guess the larger departments would likely have the higher tech Skydio. Random guess though; they have more camera options and types.
