Default Holosun direct fit on 43XMOS?

I saw a year old post on another glock forum that said "The Holosun 507K does not need a plate, as it mounts directly to the 43X MOS". Since I trust the info on there less than I trust the government I was wondering if anyone had tried that and if it was true?

The Holosun needs a plate. The RMRsscc or whatever the nomenclature of the mini RMR is, is a direct fit.

This is why I ask my question here. People here know their stuff and saves me time.

Um, nope. NOT even close. The 507K and 407K are NOT compatible with Trijicon's RMRcc or "mini RMR" as you call it. They are ALMOST compatible with Shield RMSc footprint, though. The only difference is that the 507K/407K accommodates only two recoil lug posts as opposed to four posts with the Shield RMSc. I speak from personal experience as I helped a guy remove the two rear posts from a slide that was milled for the Shield optic. Once they were removed the Holosun fit perfectly.

Thank you thank you. I went with the adaptor plate just seemed the less hassle way to do it.
