No, but it has a soul nonetheless. I do believe firearms can have souls; polymer-framed firearms not included.

This one has soul in spades.

I do believe this has the nicest DA trigger I have ever felt.

I'm at the age where I can buy a gun for purely for nostalgic reasons; the Model 28 is on my radar.

I disagree...they contain the souls of those they sent on to the meeting...with St. Peter. I have two such polymer weapons. One lives in my safe next to my 686. The other belongs to my son now.

Love those .41’s! Back in the 70s I carried them often and loved having them handy. Before I got into reloading I had to do serious cleaning after using the factory LSWC Police load, so I just stuck with the full house mag jacketed load as recoil was very manageable.

Never had to shoot anyone with it, but I felt very comfortable with its performance if called upon to do do.

What's not to like? Barrel cut to 3" or so, ported, smoothed polished trigger, and what looks like a round butt conversion.

I'd ride the river with that.

I haven’t even been able to shoot it yet and I’m already in love.

Cocking back the hammer is a pure joy. And pressing the trigger is almost sexually satisfying.

I have not done my research yet tracking down the serial number. I don’t know when they stopped making these model 58s. But this thing looks brand new. She had a good first home. But now she’s mine.
