    Default Glock Rifle Patent

I know I won't be standing in line for one.

I predict it will be another Beretta ARX. The gun media will go orgasmic about it as soon as they receive their samples and paychecks from Glock...Canola Larry will call it a game changer, and....nobody will buy it.

Looks like an AR18/180 bolt/recoil system & the gas piston just reminds me of every gas op shotgun's piston around the mag tube. Nothing substantially new IMO, just different because different.
    GFT.

Try to replace hardware with technique. Technique is free, lightweight, and cannot be lost.

Do not like the idea of hot gasses around the barrel. Sure will not help the barrel to cool off.

either this, or they will practically give them away to as many small town PDs and SOs as will take them to build a user base and ad campaign around the number of agencies that use them... I'm sure Beretta has a handful of Italian agencies using their amazing new ARX, alas, we have another solution in need of a problem.

This is not the time to get into the rifle industry. Not until the Army either buys or cancels their program to replace the M4.

It's like pistols. Everybody is trying to sell their Glock clone. Some of which are better than a Glock, but Glock has a 30-year head start in the market. Something Different would sell...like a chassis-based hammer-fired gun. Or dust off the HK squeeze-cocker patents.

Just make sure it takes Glock mags.

I'm sure it will take "Glock" magazines that aren't compatible with current AR pattern magazines
