    Default Glock rifle patents published

Very interesting! Here's a link to a German web site with an article about some Glock patents which were published in April of this year. The mythical Glock rifle may actually come to be. It looks like it uses "AR like" mags and is chambered for a bottleneck cartridge. The drawing of the external features of the rifle are kind of vauge, but in general it has a kind of "Armalite-ish" profile except with a tactical tupperware kinda vibe like one would expect from Glock.

I bet they make it LE only.

And it has a heck of a mountain to climb to knock the AR off and become king of the hill.

Agreed. I never imagined that if Glock came out with a rifle, it would be an AR clone. Just what the market needs. <sarcasm/> They'll probably sell a metric butt load no matter what, though.

I always figured a Glock long gun would be a compact pistol caliber carbine that took standard Glock mags.

Id be more interested in a Glock J-frame thing than a M4 replacement.

Or some uber tiny wallet-type pistol.

I’d be more interested in a double-action Glock that can be carried without a holster. AR-15s are old news...
