My suspicion is when the bubble pops, it'll be uneven and affect blue states more which have lost wealth and productivity (due to migration out of state).
Completely agree with the raging inflation the left unleashed. Housing prices have shot up but the Prescott area was going up before and there's a lot of conservatives moving in.
The recent leftist scams (defund the police, rona, election theft, and along with their usual agenda) got to a point where a lot of productive conservatives gave the finger to their blue state and said "fuck it, I'm done living here". Myself included.
With that said, the Prescott area is pretty nice. Trump has visited the area twice and antifa was driven out (if they decide to visit again they might just not make it out this time). Excellent selling points for a conservative looking for a new home. Yes housing in the area might slow down or dip some but I doubt as much in other areas. Also I'd say stagflation is a very real possibility.
If anything, now might be a good time to move and buy here. With the whole abortion ban in AZ, leftist are moving out (increased supply). I also noticed a smaller spike in sales after AZ did some stuff against minor tranny surgery or something.
Still relatively new to the area but even the "bad" areas I've seen in Prescott/Prescott Valley are pretty tame.
