So the movers were here the last two days the guy that did all the truck packing was a quiet Jamaican looking dude that was from New York but lived in ft lauderdale for the last 19 years. As he was closing all the doors and hatches at the end of the packing he turns to me and says “Prescott huh, that’s where the make all those guns”. I said you mean Suarez International and he replied “That’s it, they make some crazy shit”. Apparently word is out.
We will finally be moved there this Saturday.

Awesome. Just in time too.. Heard something about NM starting lockdowns or something again.
The Prescott area has an awesome community. Went to a local farm for some produce the other day, everyone was friendly and no mask f*ckery as usual.
If I had to guess, the liberals out here are probably fleeing cause of all the friendly unvaxxed smiling at them...
Last year on 9-11, ANTIFA advised they would be demonstrating in Prescott. The numbers of armed citizens that turned out was evidence of why Prescott will never submit to communism.

Gabe, we tell everyone that we took our new jobs to move to Prescott instead of moving to Prescott to take the new jobs. This is where we need to be.
Oscar01, as soon as we get settled in with the move and work I want to get together to start working on the local training group.

I recall you posting that video and it was great summary of why I was looking at Prescott (along with CDA who also gave antifa the finger). Sure I factored in climate, taxes, etc but at the top of the list was a strong and defiant community that won't take bullshit. Conversely Denver and Colorado disgusted me with their fawning over antifa/blm/marxism.
A year later, and I am still working on settling in myself. After that and working all the overtime I can grab, hopefully I can make some time for training and other pirate related activities.
I love Texas but there is not a lot of public land so that's why I will never live there. If I can't 4x4 out into nowhere and go remote shooting without bubba's around, I am not a big fan of that. Hell, I like to pack up the truck and head out and I go dry camp and won't see a single vehicle or person for a three day stretch. Especially during the work week.
Finally made it in. Getting started with work and the house is a disaster of furniture everywhere but damn I’m glad to be here.

We will be vacationing in Northern AZ next month and I have dedicated a day for a scouting trip to Prescott for possible relocation in about 4-5 years.
Id be interested in some feedback on some neighborhoods/locals to checkout either in Prescott or neighboring areas. Budget $400-500K. Id rather not be on top of the neighbors.
A recommendation for a decent place for lunch would also be appreciated.

Finding a place with a large lot or some land for that budget will be challenging in Prescott. Chino Valley, Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt are a few surrounding areas may have what you are looking for. As for lunch, I recommend hitting the Palace downtown on Whiskey Row, it’s really the heart of the Prescott experience. Best of luck!
