Firing a civil servant without cause has civil servant rights, a liability that a deputy falls under and firing may not be so easy to do.
There maybe needs to be a movement in that blue lives matter.

Be that as it may, I recall the "Stony Boys" from the Firestone Park Station...FPK.

Our agency had a similar group. The 196 Society. 196 referred to two things...the California Penal Code Section for Justifiable Homicide, and Genesis 9, verse 6 (Book 1, Chapter 9, Verse 6) - somebody look it up.

Will add its not easy to fire a police officer in California. The police are unionized in California. The LASD has ALADS (Association of Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs) which is a very powerful group. Everyone else has CalPERS, and their own unions which are super powerful.

A trainee on probation however, can be fired for having bad breath.
