Nice shooting..
Anyone who cleans Rastoff’s”s challenge is a good shooter, usually with good equipment. Nice shooting.
I have shot Rastoff’s challenge a dozen times. I’ve never cleaned it. Almost all my targets have dropped only two shots, some only one. They are almost always at the last, 10-yard part. All my guns are capable of this. Apparently I am not. So I keep trying. I believe when I do it once, I’ll need to keep doing until I can do it almost every time.
A few additional parameters:
There is no time limit. You can shoot as slowly as you want. After success at the closer ranges, I tend to speed up my shooting rather than slow it down for greater precision at longer ranges. In fact, when I take each of the four 10-yard shots as an individual firing, meaning I take one shot, rest, breathe, then take another, I can center them all.
The course needs to be shot in the prescribed order, meaning you can’t shoot @ 10 yards first, which actually makes the course easier. The progression is an important part of the challenge.
This challenge highlights all the fundamentals—repeatable grip, stance, sight alignment, breath control, trigger operation, and follow through. Screw up any of these at the close ranges, no big deal. At seven and ten yards, ignoring two or more fundamentals shows up quickly. I’ll bet a 3.25 MoA dot will yield better results than a 6.5 MoA dot.
Also, I have found I shoot much better using my carry ammo rather than target fmj.
Using a 3x5 note card is great practice as it is even smaller than the center of this target. If I could clean Rastoff’s challenge regularly, I would try a horizontal 3x5 card as the target for the same challenge—more like eyeball accurate.

It's an interesting exercise and I'll start using it in my testing protocol for new acquisitions and to evaluate modifications.
My old testing protocol was to draw a circle that would roughly approximate the width of the front sight as seen by me at 15 yards, then either blacken it or draw about a 1" diameter black dot in the center. Then:
5 @ 3yd
5 @ 5yd
5 @ 7yd
5 @ 10yd
Then break, check and mark, move out to 15, shoot 5 more. Mark 'em, move out to 25, shoot the last 5.
With ammo shortages, I reduced this to three rounds a stage.
You do get tired and less precise as you move out.
I'll make a template. I don't think I have a B29 remaining anywhere in the house.

Great shooting Randy. Social/Carry ammo specifics or range ammo??
For CB3: Carry ammo and smaller dot will make it more about you.
