That's true, I wasn't trying to detract from either 308 or 300blk it just made more sense for me to run 556.
Honestly those calibers are probably what I'll branch into next when I get the inkling for something new. Pretty much all of my area is urban so it makes sense. Cqb and guerilla sniping are primarily what I base things around. So I love to see all the posts and systems that SI has/is developing around those topics.

Logistics is a valid concern. Especially now when ammo shelves are literally bare.

Interesting. I've never seen .308 numbers for <16" or maybe 14.5".

I'm not personally interested in a .308 in the barrel lengths most popular for .300 blk, but that chart directly contradicts "facts" I've read most times I've seen the topic discussed.

Picture taken at about 1:43 CST yesterday by member of local forum. So things are improving and good to see some remington finally on the shelves. Location sports academy in Pensacola, FL Since wally world quit selling certain ammo, locally Sport Academy has become the basic outlet for ammo sales. I may stop by in a couple days and see if they have anything that I badly want at the new prices
They had a lot of 5.56 also at the counter in front.

I am looking for primers myself.
