Default Likely a junky pistol on the way from keltec in 5.7

They will want $995 for it and tout that it uses the FN magazine. For sure at that price I will pass. No way would I trust them to get it feed correctly.
Since I can see the recoil spring in the receiver, I assume it will not handle a dirty environment very well. If it works, range toy.

For just a second there, looked like a AAA battery dispenser.

If only I had a heap of FN mags lying around.

Wow. No, thanks. But if someone only wants a range toy, I guess they could do worse? Maybe?

While we are talking about silly range toys, anyone remember the Claridge Hi-Tec S9 range toy? Looks like those go for upwards of $2k now. Maybe these KelTecs are actually investment firearms?

Yet again Keltec has a pretty awesome idea, like so many of their other designs, but it will end up being a turd because Keltec can never get the actual manufacturing part right.... This is the next iteration of the Calico but with a reliable magazine.

On the mag, if KelTec is making it, maybe it will not be right either.

Getting your factory to work right is absolutely essential.

And why would I want a hi cap 22 Magnum the size of a raccoon???

I'm glad Kel-Tec exists. They are true innovators. Will this be a home run? Probably not. But it is definitely thought-provoking. If done well, in an accurate and reliable gun, with an over- or under-folding stock/brace, it could be a great gun.

I just checked out the reloading of the 5.7 cartridge. It is said to be very difficult and case life is said to be short. Problem is a special lubricant is used on the case and the these guns are blow back.
So I might be more interested in a .22 TCM

Ok, that’s actually cool. Unfortunately, it’s a Kel-Tec, so it’ll probably have a crap trigger and reliability problems. Check out the reload on it... it’s straight out of a sci-fi first person shooter video game. Needs a brace.

I love that Kel-Tec is willing to work outside of the box, and come up with new and innovative ideas. Their execution just sucks.
