    The modern democrat party is still though of by many to be the sort of liberal anti-communist party of JFK. They're wrong--they've been co-opted by an unholy union of Progressives, Socialists and Communitarians, and they (or at least their founders) mean to destroy America.

    But I don't think most people realize that. They're *completely* propagandized.

    100%. I had to part ways with an acquaintance because he refused to believe socialism was on its way in via the Democrat party.

    It's been said throughout the centuries and still stands true today, people will give up their freedoms for security - whether real or perceived. People haven't changed. They are still the same "herd-able" group they have always been.
