People have asked me if I consider myself a good or bad person. The truth of it is, I don't know or care. I have been called both. I like to think I have saved more lives than I have ended. Either way, I can still sleep at night.

I have been carrying my 5943 in a Kramer IWB horsehide leather holster since 1994. The gun and holster still looks new. Kydex has nothing on a Kramer holster IMO.

In truth gents...when I carry my DA/SA pistols, I rarely use a holster. Just saying.

    I wish.

When I carry holsterless AIWB lefty, the mag release is actuated at least 10% of the time.

I actually liked the original SIGs from the Swiss Military and the heel-based mag release. Also on the P7. If it wasn't for the ridiculous American infatuation with speed loads, these might still be an option.

Apologies to the OP for the thread drift... Gabe, along those lines, without getting into the other "detractors" of modern HK pistols, what are your thoughts on the trigger-guard ambi-releases of the HK's?

They are ok. Carried a USP for a while with them. They require training that set of movements. As I recall...the Walther 99 had them as well. Not a bad system.
