Default OFF SIDES...Unabated out the door....

" It does not take much imagination to plug that into a situation where a good guy is being surrounded on the street and all the cues of impending criminal assault are present and the flow chart says he is good to go."

A weekly refresh of the " flow chart " is a good idea.
Many are able, few are willing .

Dirty is exactly why you are here.

While it may not be germane to this example, remember (from CRG) that getting off-sides may be action taken prior to a high-speed exit (13 fps) or "Karate at 1300 fps". Time/environment permitting, covertly drawing to a pre-combat position like covered SUL. or Jack Benny, may improve your advantage for initiating prior to threat(s) action.
