Default IFAK / BOK placement on plate carrier

I'm setting up a minimalist PC and I'm trying to pick out a place for a bok.

Space on front is limited to 6 columns of MOLLE webbing, at the moment occupied by 3 AR shingles and a second row of just 2 pistol mag pouches. Pretty slim.

I don't want to add a BOK to the front to make it bulkier.

I'm thinking about putting a rip off BOK on the back instead, where I can reach it with either hand.

    Thoughts?

This product is one possible solution to your dilemma. Tucked behind the front plate. Pricey.

I like med kit, to be behind me and accessible with either hand. Most medical equipment doesn't perform as well with bullet holes in them.

    Same line of thinking here.

Does abulk matter as much behind as in front?

I mean I'm not thinking of a 10 inch deep tumor hanging off my ass but you know, 2 or 3 inches deep?

Are you running a belt that you have some space on as well? Are you limited to the plate carrier?

Nope this is "grab and go". Might go over EDC belt or just over my silk man thong depending on time of day.

Id rather have the bulk behind me, its a little awkward in a vehicle but you can manage, especially if wearing hydration or pack

Yeah, a moot point, especially bullet holes through a level IV SAPI plate!
