    Using the pants (I refused to call them trousers back then and still don't today) web belt was one of the major practicals we did all the time while in Marine Corps Boot Camp (1979). Use to have bruises on our legs from all the practicing! First thing we would "utilize" out of the issued first aide kit was the huge green handkerchief they call a cravats.

    Sorry about the confusion the one I was referring to was the Armson OEG here's a pic of what they call the retro model. Although the fiber optic shield on mine was opaque and the body not as streamlined.
