While I'm obviously against all the stuff the dems are doing in the US (not just VA but CO too), #2 is the most efficient for me at this point in time. #3 is like arguing with a vegan about nutrition...

I like to think of #2 as consolidation and reinforcing of free states.

Bedford County, VA Militia muster today. Reportedly over 500 people showed up. Four hundred signed up to join/participate/actively work to promote their cause.

They say they will have some people will be actively engaged in political matters and some "other." Getting organized/set up. Working on establishing the legal precedent for a county militia and getting the people in the county informed and involved.

Nothing mentioned about LE presence or participation. Some County BoS have already said their counties will have an organized militia. I don't think Bedford was one of the ones I'd heard about before today. Only three or four so far.

Oh, Muster = show up with your gear/weapons. The person that wrote about it said the gear/weapons ranged from "acceptable" to "outstanding." Not everyone that showed up stayed or signed up (to be expected I suppose.)

And I live no where near Bedford County and have no idea where they met or who/how it was organized.

Just saw that the Augusta County BoS meeting last night (or night before??) resulted in the BoS telling people that establishing a County Militia would be one of the topics discussed at the next meeting. I read two of the BoS openly stated their support and two more had stated on line/e-mails that they were open to the idea of establishing a county militia in order to insure the 2nd Amendment rights of their county citizens were not infringed by the new state government. No details, yet.

Not sure if it was posted elsewhere, but any truth to this? Granted another study is not an all out dismissal, but potentislly a step in the right direction.

The VCDL (and other sources) say the Judiciary Committee has decided to pass by the bill for this year. They recommended that the VA Crime Commission study the bill this summer to go over the flaws in it and determine if it can be "fixed/corrected" or if it will have any effects on crime in VA.

However, blackface Northam, as governor of the VA, can force the bill back out into the VA Senate (didn't specify if that was back to the committee or back to the Senate as a whole) for another consideration/vote.

The good news is that 4 or 5 democrats voted against the bill, not just republican state senators.

Now, all this Sanctuary County/City/Town work as well as the forming of county militias really needs to continue regardless of todays committee vote. The message to the VA government needs to be clear that the vote today did not change the way the people of the state feel about maintaining their rights - regardless of the feelings/beliefs of the Bloomberg owned dim/lib/prog/socialists in the state government.
