Yeah. Right now I'm a big dog on a short lead. I'll hear more this week.

At least I can finally see the outline of .my right bicep, still about 1.5 x normal.

A healing prayer sent your way Papa. All of the other posts had good advice.

    Thank you.

And good to hear from you. How are things on your end?

I hope you heal and return to duty soon. My leg broke on a call over a week ago so I join you on light duty and I share the frustration. Heal up and we’ll go back.

    Papa,

Shit sandwich on my end. I had another cardiac cath yesterday. There is a small coronary artery the is completely blocked and it is too small to stent or bypass. Doc said they can do open heart to put in artificial artery or try to use one of my leg veins. I see the cutter again on Friday. He wants to burn open some valves on leg veins to see if I can get enough blood return to the rest my heart to make a difference. I do not know what I will do at this point. I am spent walking 100 yards or going up a flight of stairs.

I am an optimist by nature, but this just sucks.

Much worse than what I'm dealing with. I'm at least mobile, and reasonably ambidextrous. Hang in there. Effing A we'll go back!

I've had the latter since 2012, and while I didn't use them daily, I am still using them.

They're all pretty much the same, you just have to figure out what exercises you'll be doing (talk to the physical therapist) and which kind will work better in your house.

So while in the oxy haze right after the surgery, while the nerve block was still working, I kept trying to fire up that right bicep. Whether that's why it tore I don't know, but I go back in next week to reattach.

    Shoulder X-ray looks great, though.

I have had both rotator cuffs ripped to shreds and operated on. The bands are a gear place to start.
