Looking good. Also, I bet you could use a Legion or two in your collection. What is the small bottom left?

    Thank you...

Bottom left is a P230. 7+1 rounds of highly-concealable, soft-shooting .380 ACP goodness. Loaded w/ Winchester SilverTips, per Gabe's suggestion.

Top left is a Swiss SP2009. While not my favorite pistol, it does have a very good factory DA/SA trigger, with a shorter reset than any other non-SRT Sig I've shot.

Re the Legion, I may be in the minority here, but they've never done anything for me. Performance-wise, I can achieve comparable results w/ a few OEM and/or aftermarket enhancements. I'm also not a fan of the pseudo-beavertail on the Legions.

Awhile back, I converted a .40 229R to a 9mm with stamped slide and light for the XO.

This left me with a spare .40 slide. You can guess the rest.

    Meet Mr. Snappy.

    229.jpg

60 precious Lawman 165 gr FMJ later, no malfunctions, good groups out to 25 y unsupported. Sample of 3,5,7,10 y displayed; nothing special, but adequate. The allegedly inaccurate .40 is more accurate than I am.

Literally plug and play on the orphan lower. Sights need adjustment--shoots low 1.5" and right 1" at 25 y. I'm no fan of the .40, but the recoil apparent in slowfire disappears in rapid fire. Just ask Mr. Rubber Dummy.

German frame--note the lovely plum colored hammer. Came with SRT and onepiece grip. It'll probably get a Grayguns trigger, trimmed slide stop, lightened hammer spring and (spare) bobbed hammer. Gotta love that nonrailed frame.

And then there's .357 to consider....

Thanks! 'Course now I'm thinking, why not reconvert the rail gun to .357/.40 with another slide...and down the rabbit hole we go.
