    Default FROM TNATION ON TESTOSTERONE

"I recently saw a list compiled by author and advocate Nelson Vergel of "several things your doctor may fail to tell you when you start testosterone replacement therapy" (TRT). I prefer to think of it as a list of things your doctor doesn't know about TRT, but why quibble?

Anyhow, it inspired me to assimilate (polite word for steal) some of the tips and build on them, along with adding several of my own. Here they are:

    Good list.

Thanks for encouraging it here. Iím 6 months in, part of the lifestyle. I found a good clinic that focuses on optimization, not restoration. Weekly intra-muscular injections, blood tests every 5 weeks, adjusting T doses based on blood tests, also advising me on vitamins/minerals as part of the tests, and administering HCG/estrogen control as part of the regimen. Hematocrit is something we watch every 5 weeks and so far so good.

I have a friend who had a horrible experience at a clinic near him. He quit. When I told him about the clinic/doc I found, he couldnít believe how much better it is.

    Find a good clinic.

I just found a good one and start with them next week. The nice thing about them is that they are also a pain management clinic so it'll be like a 1 stop shop for me and all my issues.

What test are they giving you, 200 mg a week sounds pretty low.

200 mg per week seems on the high end. For most uses you get 100 mg to 150 mg. So 200 is not like a low steroid cycle but definitely upper end.
