That reminds me of the time I walked into a friends gun
shop many years ago. He had a piece of sand paper and
a new Browning HiPower magazine. It was obvious he was
going to remove some material from it. I asked what was
wrong with it & he said it wouldn't drop free. I picked up
what I needed & as I was paying, I told I would give him
$10 for the magazine. He said Ok & I paid up. As I was going
out the door, I told him if he removed the magazine disconnect,
all the magazines would drop free. His mouth was still open as
I closed the door behind me.

Ha! Just removed one from a Mk. III this week, and wasn't that fun.

I once was presented with a 1907 Savage .32 that was locked up solid and was asked what I could do.

I pulled the grips, put it in a sock and boiled it in a pot of water. Don't know what they were using for gluebricant.

But the heat treatment worked like a charm.

Ok I'd make a crappy pirate - let him 'buy' it back for $275 BUT he did give me a really nice bottle of craft rum with it ...

I'm not sure how that makes me
    feel about you.

I wouldn't do much for a Klondike bar, but I'd do some shady shit for a good rum.

    Always entertaining, mildly offensive
IANative: Indeed, when you grab Brent (or he grabs you), it feels like liquid unobtanium wrapped in rawhide... whereas Greg is just solid muscle wrapped in hate, seasoned w/ snuff and a little lead.

This is really nice stuff - much to nice for me but I'll drink it anyways - one of like 290 bottles this little distillery in Charleston SC did that year, two fingers of rum with a small cube while doing some reading last night went down right nice

Your poor brother in-law. I like mine better than that.
