You know what I would like to see and would consider it a superlative NPE deep concealment weapon?

A tuned up SIG P239 with an NSA-RMR system.

Hmmm...if ShopMonkey is up to the challenge I’d be game to pick one up and let him go Frankenstein haha. I could use a congrats-on-the-new-job gift to myself. =P

I'd prefer to base on a P225A1, but it's close enough. The P22X guns are the best of the DA/SA guns.

One of my guys works at the LGS in his spare time. He says 3 or 4 people a day coming in wanting these. I really never understood why anyone would buy anything from the XD line, but hey I guess a bunch of useless safeties and silly grips sell guns. My grandmother did buy an xdm .45 because she thought the grip safety made it safer in her purse.

The 225 is cool too. Two espressos down . Here is my ideal, deep concealment, often NPE, holsterless carry.

Single stack of approx 7 to 10 rounds. This keeps it sleek and slim. It is a compromise but you can conceal a single stack better.

Compacr grip and barrel/slide. Glock 26 is a good profile guideline with the 239 being the outer level.

While an RMR is very desirable, it may not be essential on this weapon genre.

    A DA/SA trigger...properly tuned to approximately 7-8 pounds/3.0 - 3.5 pounds. Easily done. Keep the hammer spur.

Poly or metal frame is not an issue either way.

What in your opinion most closely resembles that gun that's on the market today.

    Always entertaining, mildly offensive
IANative: Indeed, when you grab Brent (or he grabs you), it feels like liquid unobtanium wrapped in rawhide... whereas Greg is just solid muscle wrapped in hate, seasoned w/ snuff and a little lead.
