Anything for a 34 will work. For AIWB, I don't know. Sorry we used to sell holsters but way too many in that market. For duty use I suggest the Safariland for the 34 with the RMR. I don't recall the model number.

Just as an aside, anything made from kydex is dead easy to modify.

I've modified a few IWB kydex holsters with a dremel to accommodate a manual safety, took only a few minutes and cleaned up nicely.

Plan on doing the same with my G17 holsters to accommodate the street comp.

Seconding Gabe and Oscar01’s posts. A 34 holster accepts most lengths and Kydex holsters are easy to modify. One simple mod for shorter holsters (17, 19, 26) with a closed, or partly closed, muzzle end (and you’re ok with some exposed metal), is to cut open the end to accommodate the comp’d pistol.

Also, with a kydex holster you can heat the material
with a heat gun to reform it. I will add 2 or 3
layers of painters tape to the comp to add a little
clearance and to provide some scuff protection.
Heat the muzzle area of the holster until it starts
to move & insert the pistol. Wear a glove or use
a rag to tweak the shape as desired.

If a holster vendor has an option for a threaded
barrel, I will usually opt for it just in case I want
to add a comp to that pistol some day.

I modded my Archangel this way as well.

I'll post a photo later today.

Has anyone found an actual g34 length IWB holster? The open bottom ones work ok for daily carry, but not so good at the range. I had to run OWB for my CRG2 class. Mutiple mags through a comped gun and an open bottom AIWB holster are not a good mix.

My favorite holster was the SI Archangel version 4. Sadly it's no longer made.

Edited to add: I generally prefer open bottom holsters. They give you the flexibility to carry something with a longer slide, barrel, comp, etc. However, I do think it's ideal that the holster is as long as the gun. It has never been an issue for me, and I think I probably do more dynamic movement (including weird positions on the ground) than the average bear. But there's the possibility that your body can push a gun out of the holster if the body of the holster doesn't cover the full length of the slide/comp. Like I said, it's never happened to me, but...

I have a holster customized for a particular laser. I'm going to add a comp to that gun and that will necessitate opening up the bottom of the holster, and the comp will stick out some. Not ideal but is what it is.

I don't know anything about this one other than what I can see online. It looks decent though.

Holsters are like underwear and women. Everyone wants their own special kind and I could not possibly address all the likes and wants of everyone. Couple that with the fact that kydex is the new "nail salon" profession for males (and every swinging johnson is getting into it and selling their sh*t for peanuts), I elected to step out of that market last year.

    What do I recommend? I don't know.
