And with the Pelican case through in a honorable mention for short swords and big Bowies. I don't want to take a knife to a gun fight, but likewise I want to carry more than a shovel with me when I go to dig up my Pelican!

Anyway, when I first started under domestic violence laws a judge would order all weapons seized from a suspect. At the time, if any illegal weapons were found they could not be charged for it. Now, it's not the case. They can and will be charged. Many cops have lost their careers over domestic violence accusations. Now, imo, the Red Flag Law is an extension of that. All someone has to do is file a complaint that they are threatened or in fear and there's going to be a problem.
I suspect that there's going to be some bloodshed over this. Some people are not going to just give up their weapons freely. Plus, law abiding citizens are getting tired of being criminalized when they haven't done anything wrong.
Good to meet a pro 2A NJ Prosecutor.

I have some concern that misuse of red flag laws will be the new swatting.

I recently heard on the news of the parent's firearms being confiscated because their kid made an online threat and the child had access to guns.

Red flag , civil asset forfeiture, taking my money under threat of force to feed those who won’t work, waiting in the hospital because 30 illegals kids got the flu and of course they are first in line on my dime- call it what ever ya want getting awful tried of being the bad giy and having my rights property and money taken at every turn.

Side note wonder if the guns they take from law biding citizens will be given to ISIS and the cartels or will tax dollars still be spent to make factory new weapons for them?
