Not that you need help with business matters, but a preorder might be just the thing.

just as a reference, while we did contemplate doing comps for a 26 to bring it toa 19 length and a 19 comp to bring it to a 17 length, unfortunately the numbers dont add up. you would be left with what is essentially a weighted thread protected that just looks like an extension for the slide, as the threaded barrel alone covers the needed difference in length leaving no room for ports

People have asked me if I consider myself a good or bad person. The truth of it is, I don't know or care. I have been called both. I like to think I have saved more lives than I have ended. Either way, I can still sleep at night.

Glock frames have two items that affect what slides and barrels will work on them. See below -

    glock-rails.jpg

These cannot readily be changed so you go with what you have. Thus a 19 slide will not work on a 17, and a 26 will not work on a 19. The only deviation from that has been with the Gen 5 series where the locking blocks and barrel lock up is identical on 19, 17, and 19x-45.

In fact, the greatest strength of the Gen 5 series IMHO is that you can add a Street Comp to a Glock 19X and in essence create a recoiless Glock 34.

    Gotcha.

A 17-length compensated 26 has potential, and that seems doable with off the shelf SI components.

The only issue is that the 26 frame is short. For me, it is a great second or back up, or special event blaster...but not a first liner for me. 19 length is a perfect compromise and best of all worlds.
