If I could get one for my G27, I would do it in a heartbeat. But I don't think enough people would order enough to make it worthwhile to tool up.

    Always entertaining, mildly offensive
IANative: Indeed, when you grab Brent (or he grabs you), it feels like liquid unobtanium wrapped in rawhide... whereas Greg is just solid muscle wrapped in hate, seasoned w/ snuff and a little lead.

A gen 4 comp should work on your gen 3 26.
Pretty sure gen 3 and gen 4 26s share the same RSA

    Okay, this thing is slick.
Ran around 200 rounds through the 26 (S&B 115grn ball) no issues at all.
This thing shoots flat, really flat. Took a little getting used to, had been a couple of years since I'd shot the 26.
Today was just a quick range session (get away from the office, run some drills etc before the boss notices I've been gone too long).
Going to invest some more time in this platform and then do a more detailed review.

I wasn’t aware that I could use the gen4 SC on my gen3 26. I sent an email to HQ posing the question, but haven’t heard back one way or the other yet and didn’t want to assume. But, if I can use the gen4 SC on my gen3 26, that would be great/answer my question/make me happy lol

From what I recall from my conversation with Shop Monkey, a Gen 3 G26 requires a Gen 4/5 comp because the Gen 3,4 & 5 G26's all use the same dual-spring recoil system.

Mine should be all back together today. We'll see how much I get done lol. I'll be running the range all week so it's going to get shot a lot.

Gents...some critical thinking and analysis if you please regarding Glock 26.

Look at a Gen 3 Muzzle. Oh...I may as well put up a Gen 4 muzzle as well.

    G3-4.jpg

    Look at the muzzle carefully.

    Now -

A Glock 26 Gen 3, Gen 4, and Gen 5 are identical. We know because we checked.
A Glock 26 Gen 3 does not share the recoil unit from other Gen 3 pistols
The recoil unit from the Gen 3 Glock 26 is the same as the Gen 4 and 5 Glock 26.

So...will a Gen 3 comp fit? No...the area that mates with the muzzle is too small

Will a Gen 4 comp fit? Yes, because the area that mates with the muzzle is the same size for Gen 3, gen 4, and Gen 5 slides.

Want a comp on the 26, get a Gen 4 regardless of Generation.

The rest of my stuff (for the upper) arrived today. Internals are all Suarez. I haven't shot it yet. It is built on my G327 frame that has been carrying a 9mm conversion barrel for 5 years. Yes, I have a G4 comp.

My agenda was to have a barrel that approximates a G17, with the smaller G26 Grip. When I carry my G3SG17 in my OWB (but still concealed) custom holster at 3:30 to 4:00 position the butt digs into the bolster of my bucket seat leaving a dent. I don' want to ruin a Lexus seat. You can see the difference in butt length in the picture where the 26 is on top of the 17.

Some of my G17 holsters work fine with the comped 26. My favorite (the custom) just needs to have the bottom end heated up and reshaped a little and it should be fine, it was specifically fitted to the G3SG17
