I'd almost call Den of Thieves a remake of Heat elements of The Usual Suspects.

I saw it in the theater on a night when the wife was out of town and I promptly turned around and took her to see it 2 nights later when she got back. The guns are cool (1st time in a film FN .45 w/Red Dot? The Saiga shotgun and the FN249 Para) and the story is enjoyable but it does not come anywhere near dethroning Heat as the best crime drama in last 25 years.....

I saw it on Itunes. I liked how the bad(der) guys executed a peel rather than just running away.

My son is 13 and does a lot of Fortnite & Call of Duty, WW2, mostly.
He is getting a great education on WW2 firearms. He has been
wanting a Garand, but I bought him a WW2 era "parts" M1 carbine.
I shot it a little Tuesday. They are a fun & handy little rifle.

I have been flying his plane in Fortnite while he directs me where to
    go. Quality family time!

    Later!

Once my son hit his teens I made a habit of getting him a rifle for Christmas and a pistol on his birthday. One year I asked what he'd like. He said, a No. 4 British Short Magazine Lee-Enfield. I said WTF? Turned out he'd been using one in some video game. I was so thrilled I got him one, of course. Later he was using a Mosin Nagant sniper rifle, so I found one of the armory refurbs with a Russian scope. I guess video games are good for something after all.

He's now in his thirties, in his second house, and he and his wife make more money than my wife and I ever did. I'm going to start sending him a Christmas list of movie guns I want.
